carrying of images of the Virgin from churches around the town.

19th - Burning of the Fallas - enormous effigies
set up in the streets in celebration of San Jose. The most
spectacular are in Valencia but they can also be seen in Denia
and some other towns They can be viewed in their
finished state a day or two before the burning.
